I came to psychotherapy through my own journey of understanding people and what makes us struggle. After studying Psychology and Sociology at Westminster University, I knew I wanted to do more than just understand human behaviour theoretically.
My postgraduate diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Roehampton gave me the training, but it's the years of practice that have shaped how I work. I'm an integrative psychotherapist, which means I don't stick rigidly to one approach. Instead, I draw from a large toolbox of different therapeutic styles, tailored to what you need.
My previous experience includes working in a local hospice, supporting people and families facing terminal illness and bereavement. This has taught me about the profound nature of loss and grief in ways that academic training never could. It's also shown me the importance of compassion, presence, and simply being alongside someone in their darkest moments.
My role as your therapist is to create an atmosphere of safety and acceptance. I see therapy as a journey where we work together as a team towards the same goals. I am your guide, helping you recognise your potentials and choices, and supporting you to make changes when that feels right.

Qualifications
I undertake regular clinical supervision and maintain a programme of continuing professional development to ensure my practice stays current and effective. I work within the BACP Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
